My goodness people! What a Day! This may be a huge brain dump as I'm standing up stretching before I try to take a nap. Sooooo….

Was super worried about all the taking out your things at TSA. Nope just put it through. No more taking out your computer and such. Was so easy I almost forgot my headphones were on! on these *@aftershokz are off the chart. If you have not tried them you need to! Easy Breezy.

People, the Artwork in the Pensacola International Airport are people I know and admire! Proud of them! Went to school with them🙏🏻. Please take a look next time.you are there.

Easy flight to ATL lastish one in. I have had to control my anxiety about flying, then made it to ATL. Just like old times! Next to ATL layover of 5ish hours. I use to have HOURS of layovers here. Just road the tram around and around for 8 hours. Met people talked, walked. You know Janed. So I was kinda excited to explore!

Have you been to the Atlanta Airport lately?! Well this means in the last 6 years?? My goodness walk Do NOT take the train! Wow well done ATL!! 👏🏼I even made an album of This Space!( https://photos.app.goo.gl/3ePP2J3DCxf7teYM7).I am so impressed by this Art walk. I am so thankFULL for this layover! I first walked down to the Zimbabwe exhibit! Wow the amount of talent below and actually throughout Atlanta Airport is AMAZING. If you can take the time, call the line and listen to this nice sounding lady talk about each Artist and piece. I spent about 45 mins in this part listening and walking around each piece of work. Wow I know. I keep saying this word on repeat. But it was out of this world talent. I was in my element of sculpture! Then walked back through it in time lapse! In the Album!

I then Stumbled upon and AMAZING Installation by Steve Weldck and a Team of Artist, engineers, sound, lights, space design and a whole lotta HOURS wow. You have to see it to make your own interpretation! A forest of shadows, sounds,I think I spent an hour there and during this time I just kept thinking ofmy dear friend Brezzy who is Curator and Director, mover, helper, lover and work wife of CW. I finished up videoing the space and called and kept of my walked.

Then up stairs to pee and re arrange. Then saw a beautiful spot to paint! I sat and painted for 45 mins and then went back to Marco Polo my Dear Erika through the space and went on my way to Gate F7.

It took me a while but I walked the and I walked and I walked. Through the history of Georgia, saw some of my hero's, Booker T, Washington, John Lewis, Martin Luther King Jr. What a legacy my state has. I felt there was some history just brushed over but over all well done ATL!

Continue saw beautiful glass walls and elevators so much! Wow.

Then on to rearrange next set, and the gate. Had to go to the bathroom one last time on to one more breathing exercise and Lastish one in and yes….. then has to check my carry-on to Rabat with a quick pull all electronics out and pile in backpack on to plane.

Found seat put all electronics in overhead bin. I failed to bring chocolate, in France I will buy chocolate to help smooth over my fight attends. 👍🏼✌🏼

I sat down we finally pulled out. Took off. And watched the Friends episode of when Joey is trying to learn French!!! 😂😂😂 What laughter I had. Poor Phoebe!

Then dinner I chose pasta 😬 next time will try other. The Rice was a bit weird but paste over all was pretty good. Champagne and a. Glass of wine and then I accidentally.poured the last bit of my wine on the lovely fight attendant. 😞.

Also have you watched King Richard! Wow! Will tweak more tomorrow but fun redo of yesterday!
✌🏼❤️Jgh

How has it been 6 years since I've been on an airplane?
I constantly ask myself this question as a third culture kid. Then, I am reminded I am a teacher living in America! I also have been asking myself how have I been in this place so long? The Panhandle is the region I have lived in for the longest in my life. I guess I have found myself here. The Jane I am today. The one who is still learning and growing. The one who since this website www.janegraceart.com was formed has become, The Crazy Jane the Art Teacher. This is a title when I created this site, would have NEVER in a million years been a thought or a title. A title I would grow to adore. With this title we have fun, we learn and we get to create. All while being with all the me's!
This Crazy Jane is coming down from a week of helping out a friend, teaching camp at the Pensacola Museum of Art. We had a fun week inspired by Clyde Butcher. We made Cyantypes, painted the redwood forest, made trees, bird's-nest, fun journals, grass heads, fairy habitats, and so many fun memories in the Florida sun! We had a heatwave this week!
But this next Tuesday I will be embarking on an overseas adventure!!! I am going to see my Mama and Baba in Morocco 🇲🇦!! My Mama is the Hostess with the mostest! So I wanted to restart this dialogue with the world as I start to pack and get ready for it ALL. My dear friend inspired me to write and blog to remember this great adventure! I hope you join me! Follow me at @jghatcher20 on Instagram for fun pictures and stories! And here for some insight on this fun Adventure of Jane! I AM SO EXCITED!!!
